Rome, 21 December (LaPresse) – From the city of Leipzig, in Saxony, to the German capital Berlin, security measures are being stepped up for the Christmas markets after the attack last night in the city of Magdeburg. This was reported by the German media. In Leipzig, local authorities reported that the police presence at the market will be visibly increased and that the protection of access routes will be strengthened. The federal state of Hesse has also increased the number of officers deployed in the Christmas markets.
