Rome, 31 March. (LaPresse) – Pope Leo The Holy See makes this known. Precisely on the opening day of the Games, February 6, the Holy Father signed the Letter "Life in Abundance" on the value of sport. The Hearing initiative is coordinated by the Dicastery for Culture and Education, with the involvement of Athletica Vaticana, in collaboration with the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) and the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP). Significantly, during the Hearing the "Sportsmen's Cross" will be present in the room which, for the entire duration of the Games, was placed in the Basilica of San Babila in Milan. At the end of the hearing there will be a press point in the Sala Ducale, in the Apostolic Palace, for athletes who wish to share their testimony. Some athletes will then go to the "Santa Marta" Pediatric Dispensary, also in the Vatican, to meet some families in situations of poverty and fragility.
